More upgrades for renal reality version 3
Standardize the data input process through a flexible Basic Functional Unit, enabling data entry, editing, and seamless exportation via Forms Action Buttons (FABs). These buttons include options for clinic letters, referrals, favorites, and reminders, providing a unified approach to data management.
Ensure the safe and secure management of data across all local installations, enabling improved user access to patients and facilitating third-party utilization, including mobile apps and registries. Implement HL7 messaging services to establish communication with various data sources through secure interfaces.
Users have the flexibility to craft customized worklists and input data for any combination of patients, leveraging the comprehensive set of filters and sorting options offered within the software. This Bulk Operation WorkList (BOWL) can be tailored to individual users for efficient bulk data entry tasks.
Utilization of Google mapping to track RRT patients, a WhiteBoard feature for real-time dialysis reports and Alerts, and the capability for automated or manual entry of dialysis information. This enables live and interactive management, whether patients are dialyzing in a clinical center or within a self-care setting.
Our vision with RenalReality "renal care in your hands"
"Patients taking ownership of their Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) can allow for a cost-effective method of managing both progression of CKD and overall maintenance of patient well-being." HINZ 2014
However, as with medical practitioners, we need to adapt and use the advances made in Information Technology to deliver a platform to patients through which they can share personalized healthcare information, enabling them to take ownership of their CKD careplans.
This platform should consist of automated information, advice, and guidance about the progress of their kidney disease and the associated organ-specific complications. Advances in information technology (IT) enable this redesign of healthcare processes based on using and integrating electronic communication at all levels. New communication technologies can now support a transition from institution centric to patient-centric applications and allow patients and clinical staff to take renal care in their hands
